Judy is driving fast. A strong wind is blowing from the left, but
fortunately the road is dry, so the car has no problem staying in its
lane. Suddenly, the driver ahead of Judy slows down forcing her to
step on the brakes. Judy brakes too hard; the tires lock and slide
on the pavement. Unexpectedly, the wind now easily pushes her car
sideways as though she were on ice. Why is the wind now so effective?
