The total number of tests, labs and/or homework assigned
may vary somewhat from quarter to quarter; therefore the 
total available points in any given quarter may vary.
Points available PER QUARTER
 
Homework
 Typically 3-4 sets @ 10 pts ea.
 
Homework Quiz
 Random @ 10 pts ea.
 
Labs
 
3-5 labs @ 50 pts ea.
 
Chapter Tests
 3-5 tests @ 50 pts ea.
 
Quarter Project
 50 pts.
 
Class
Participation*
 50 pts.
Quarter Grade
 
(Total points earned / Total points possible) X 100
then adjusted for
'Bonus Points' earned
Semester points
 
Semester Exam
 100 pts.
Semester Grade Each quarter grade is worth 2/5th's, the semester exam is worth 1/5th.
